  19. I wish people would stop trying to use as little memory as possible.
  20. Face it, when I bought a 386/33 in 1991 it had 1 MB. I quickly upgraded to
  21. 5 MB when I had Linux 0.11 and 0.12. Those ran in 1 MB but then you couldn't
  22. use gcc. Since then memory requirements have grown. Even if your cheapo
  23. clone builder sells a P90 with 4 of 8 MB RAM doesn't mean that you should
  24. stick with that forever.

  26. All this nonsense about businesses not going to Windows 95 because all
  27. their PC's were 286's or 386's with 2 or 4 MB, like Computerworld liked
  28. to stress is nonsense. If you want to keep up with the software of today,
  29. buy the hardware of today. I have 32 MB and everyone with less should
  30. upgrade or accept the fact that they are stuck with a bullshit PC.
